This page took a very, very long time despite being somewhat simplistic. The reason? I had not given any thought to Tadlie’s appearance… no thoughts, no concept art, and, in fact, no name. (I referred to him as “red-haired blacksmith” in the Script.) So I was drawing somewhat blind, designing him as I went. I am happy with how he turned out, though.
And the plot thickens…

Two new pages (Page 13 and 14) also means an updated Cast page. As the story progresses, we discover more about our heroine, Franiel, and get a change of venue. (Yes! No more drawing the same room over and over again!)
I am excited about the next set of pages… though the task of drawing them is slightly daunting. I am not certain my meager skills will be able to capture what I see in my mind’s eye.
