This page took a very, very long time despite being somewhat simplistic. The reason? I had not given any thought to Tadlie’s appearance… no thoughts, no concept art, and, in fact, no name. (I referred to him as “red-haired blacksmith” in the Script.) So I was drawing somewhat blind, designing him as I went. I am happy with how he turned out, though.

I was able to finish three pages today… pages 10-12. But considering today is the 15th, I will still be behind tomorrow. Hopefully, I will manage to catch up this week. It takes me approximately two and a half hours to do a single page from start to finish, so it is not like I can just whip out a new page in minutes. And if I get stuck on having to re-draw a panel over and over… What can I say? I am a perfectionist.
It is a lot of fun being able to share with people that I am working on the Prologue of a “graphic novel”. =)
